According to Talkers Magazine, known as “The Bible of Talk Radio” - Tommy G made their list of the "Top 250 Talk Show Hosts" in the nation numerous years in a row. He has written and produced song parodies and comedy bits that were played on hundreds of radio stations and shows.
Accolades for Tommy G include a commendation from the Old Bridge, NJ Police Dept., as well as being the only broadcaster in NJ to receive The New Jersey 911 Lifeline Citizens Hero Award. A listener to the Tommy G Show heard his plea to help find a missing elderly man before sub-freezing temperatures could take his life. That listener called the police and the missing man’s life was saved (many publications wrote about it including the NY Daily News).
If Tommy G looks familiar, it's because he's appeared on a number of TV news programs, including Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, and numerous New York City TV news broadcasts. Known for his volunteer work, Tommy G received a proclamation from Manalapan Township, NJ for his assistance during Superstorm Sandy.
Tommy G grew up in a three story tenement as the third of seven children in Brooklyn, NY and earned a B.A. in Psychology from the City University of New York. Tommy G has called Manalapan, NJ his home for more than 20 years where he lives with his (high school sweetheart) wife. He has two married daughters, the oldest a graduate of Rutgers University and the youngest a graduate of Monmouth University, and recently became the proud "Papa" to three granddaughters.
Tommy's hobbies include martial arts training where he's attained the level of Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do.
