The YMCA of Greater Monmouth County is hosting its 31st annual memorial breakfast honoring the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
The annual Y event will bring together residents, community leaders, students and friends of the nonprofit to kick off a weekend of activities in Monmouth County to celebrate the civil rights leader and support and engage youth in our communities. The celebration is being planned by an advisory committee of community leaders led by Michael A. Wright, a member of the Y Board of Directors.
Keynote speaker at the event will be Wayne Boatwright, Vice President of Diversity & Inclusion at Hackensack Meridian Health. The event will also include music, essay readings, and a collection for families in need. Kindly bring donations of winter clothing to support under-served members of our community.
Event tickets are $30 for adults, $10 for youth (16 & under) and $250 for a table of 10. For tickets or more information, please visit https://ymcanj.org/mlk, or contact Sandy Riddle at 732.671.5505, ext. 119 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
