DIGITAL PROGRAM DIRECTOR – NEW JERSEY

Description:Beasley Media Group New Jersey is looking for an experienced Digital Program Director to lead our cluster’s Digital Department. The ideal candidate will lead and coach our team to develop, produce and deliver engaging content for programming and sales, as well as assist with management of our websites and social media.

This person will also:

  • Manage and implement strategies to increase website traffic to meet Corporate goals through talent and brand focused original content development: creative editorial photo galleries, engagement tools, user generated content, social media referral traffic, email referral traffic, content partnerships, search engine optimization, and third party provided content
  • This individual must be a journalist by training; capable of creating and packaging news and information in highly credible, professional and clever ways—and able to lead/coach on-air talent to extend our brands into compelling, multi-media content machines.  This involves use of 3rdParty Research to drive content development.
  • Regularly meets with the current Corporate Digital Content and Marketing teams on best practices, strategies, content ideas, and content marketing to help meet company digital goals
  • Coordinates all onsite/offsite coverage of events through live streams, real time social media and website updates
  • Executes email marketing with input from PDs, Marketing teams and Ad Sales
  • Works with Marketing teams to ensure that all digital assets are aligned with the station/brand by hosting a dedicated Digital Marketing Meeting each week
  • Implements digital contesting via vendor platforms, social and texting platforms
  • Collaborates with sales teams on advertisement-based content strategies and execution and to ensure best programming opportunities/franchises are monetized
  • Oversee digital equipment working with IT and Engineering to determine local equipment needs and services

Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to lead/coach a team and a proven record of creating content and driving digital traffic
  • Proficiency in video production/photography/editing software (Adobe Cloud, Photoshop), operating a live stream and social media experience
  • Knowledge of WordPress
  • Ability to multi-task in an organized, professional, dependable manner
  • Must be comfortable coaching on-air talent and producers, as well as working with recording artists to create and execute content
  • Experience with qualitative research to help design content filters for our radio brands

Description: The Digital Sales Specialist (DSS) will possess a deep knowledge of digital, from tools that work best to achieve specific sales goals, to the elements needed for a successful campaign. The ideal candidate will be comfortable speaking individually with sellers, or presenting to a room filled with clients. The DSS will be well-versed in display advertising, email marketing, social and content marketing, and will be analytical, organized, solution-minded, and customer centric.

The DSS will work cooperatively with salespeople to strategize and execute digital campaigns for clients, sharing the following responsibilities:

  • Prospect clients for digital marketing campaigns
  • Perform customer needs analysis (CNA) in the field to uncover client’s goals and strategic objectives
  • Create custom strategies and tactics to achieve client’s goals and format into custom client facing proposals
  • Present proposal to client
  • Close sales and execute digital solutions for clients
  • Recommend specific digital services to support the client’s strategic goals
  • Communicate specific product benefits and processes to clients, to ensure quality and timely execution of purchased products
  • Work with clients and digital team to deliver a superior return on investment for the digital campaign
  • Evaluate client’s Google Analytics to help analyze campaign effectiveness
  • At the end of the campaign, review custom performance reports that effectively analyze how the customer goals were met or exceeded with the goal of increasing retention and upsell

PART TIME PROMOTIONS ASSISTANT

Description: Beasley Media Group has an immediate part time opening for a Part Time Promotions Assistant at Magic 98.3/WCTC 1450, in Somerset, NJ.  This entry-level job is ideal for those who are passionate about radio and marketing and are looking to “get a foot in the door” at one of the nation’s leading broadcast companies. This position requires frequent participation at the stations’ promotions and events, including interaction with listeners.  You will also be expected to develop and maintain relationships with our clients in a professional manner. You must be willing and able to drive station vehicles.

Qualifications:

  • Previous radio experience preferred;
  • Must be available to work nights and weekends with select weekday availability;
  • Proficiency with computers/MS Office;
  • Experience in Adobe Photoshop and video editing software is a plus
  • Must be detail-oriented, well organized, and a team player;
  • Must be creative, but also understand the “business” of radio;
  • Must have an upbeat personality with the drive to go above and beyond;
  • Must have a valid NJ driver’s license and stellar driving record.
