It doesn’t appear there will be more easing of some coronavirus restrictions anytime soon in New Jersey.
Governor Murphy on CNN this morning said he guesses he won’t be opening up further capacities for some time now because of the coronavirus case load. New Jersey now leads the nation with new cases per capita.
On Friday, the state loosened capacity rules for a number of businesses including restaurants and gyms.
Murphy added he’s hoping to have 85-percent of students back before the end of the school year and all in person at the start of the next school year.
Right now nearly three quarters of the student population are in the classroom full time.
