State officials say the COVID-19 vaccination will be administered free of charge.
Governor Phil Murphy says as the state scales up its vaccination plan all health care providers must immunize people without billing them.
It also applies to those who do not have health insurance. Murphy says he hopes to start rolling out the vaccine to the general public by Memorial Day.
Meanwhile, the state is throwing a lifeline to small businesses struggling to survive the pandemic.
Governor Murphy has signed The Economic Recovery Act of 2020, with the goal of supporting small businesses while also nurturing the economy’s recovery and growth for the next ten years.
One initiative actually allots a total of fifty-million-dollars in grants and loans to small and micro-businesses while another invests in start-ups and the entrepreneur economy.
