New Jersey is reporting the largest single-day death toll from COVID-19, with 232 people passing away.  Total deaths statewide from the virus now stands at just over 12-hundred.  Governor Murphy called the number “almost unfathomable.”  In addition, there were just over 33-hundred new cases of the virus, bringing the total to 44-thousand-four-hundred-and-sixteen. Governor Murphy was wearing a surgical mask before starting his daily news briefing.
