The U.S. Supreme Court is expected to start hearing the Bridgegate case appeal today. A former Port Authority official and former top aide to then New Jersey Governor Chris Christie were sentenced to prison time for their role in the 2013 traffic jam at the George Washington Bridge. Bill Baroni and Bridget Kelly were convicted on fraud and other charges after prosecutors say they used their power to misuse government resources, causing a traffic jam in Fort Lee as a political payback move.  They remain free while they await the result of their appeal to the highest court.
