Woodbridge remains atop the final Top Ten of regular season.

For a second week in a row, there’s a new team atop the WCTC Central Jersey High School Football Top Ten:  the Woodbridge Barrons.

Piscataway had its 14-week streak at Number One ended last week after the Chiefs were knocked off by New Brunswick, and were overtaken by Somerville.  But the Pioneers lost Saturday at Summit, one of three undefeated area teams (New Brunswick and Hillsborough as well) to suffer their first losses of the season this week.

Woodbridge had a bye this week.

Following are the Week 5 rankings, with records and previous rank in parentheses:

  1.  Woodbridge (4-0, 2)
  2.  Somerville (4-1, 1)
  3.  St. Joseph-Metuchen (4-1, 3)
