Senator Cory Booker’s 2020 presidential campaign is struggling. Booker’s campaign manager issued an urgent appeal for funding just days ago, saying the Democratic hopeful needs to raise nearly two-million dollars by the end of the month to stay in the race. The news came a day after New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio dropped his bid for the White House. Booker and a host of other 2020 contenders are campaigning in Iowa this weekend as they try to gain momentum in the first-in-the nation caucus state.
