NJ Lawmakers Voting On Gun Law Bills

The New Jersey Assembly is set to vote on a package of bills Monday to toughen the state's gun laws. They include reducing magazine capacity, a ban on armor piercing bullets, making it tougher to get a permit to carry a handgun and preventing people with mental health issues from obtaining firearms.

Meantime the NRA is joining local gun rights advocates for a rally at the War Memorial in Trenton to protest the bills.  Governor Murphy has promised to sign the bills if they clear both houses.
