Governor-Elect Murphy Vows To Increase Minimum Wage In New Jersey

Governor-elect Phil Murphy is promising to hike the state's minimum wage to 15-dollars.  During a news conference in Trenton Monday, Murphy was joined by fellow Democrats and announced he will begin work to fulfill his campaign promise of upping the minimum wage from eight-dollars and 44-cents to 15-dollars an hour over the next few years.  Last year, the state legislature approved a bill that would hike the minimum wage to 15-dollars, but it was vetoed by Governor Christie.
