NJ Pharma Giant Tackles Veterans Suicide Tragedy

Johnson & Johnson, the nation's largest healthcare company, is mounting a campaign to raise awareness about the suicide rate among military veterans.  The Veteran Administration's own statistics show there are 22 suicides a day, or one every 65-minutes. Dr. David Hough, a neuroscientist at J&J, says veterans who experience combat are more prone to depression, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, substance abuse and brain injury at higher rates.  J&J and the VA have released a new public service announcement, starring Tom Hanks, to combat stigmas about mental illness and to encourage vets to get treatment for it.
