SYSTEM AND AUTOMATION ADMINISTRATOR

Location: Beasley Media Group New Jersey

Description: Beasley Media Group New Jersey is looking for an IT professional to provide technical support and advice to help our staff effectively use computer software and hardware in a dynamic multi- platform environment. The successful candidate will identify the hardware and software needed to provide solutions to end-users’ problems. You will also be the primary administrator of the broadcast automation systems. This position requires additional IT related responsibilities and tasks, as well as

non-IT duties as assigned by supervisor or management. You will assist with server and network support, roll out computers for new employee setups, and oversee printer maintenance and repair. This position requires communication via telephone, online and face-to-face support with all of Beasley’s New Jersey radio stations.

Qualifications:

  • Must have minimum 3 years of tech support experience;
  • Must administer and maintain the broadcast automation systems, including an AoIP systems;
  • Must use Windows 2003/2008/20012 Server, Windows Ver. XP, 7 and 10, Active Directory and Microsoft Office 2010 - Office 365;
  • Must maintain Windows Desktops from a functionality, security, and patch standpoint using automated tools;
  • Must assist with backup (and restoration in emergencies) of data on servers;
  • Must help monitor and maintain company-wide anti-virus system;
  • Must compose and edit documentation for end-user training;
  • Must share 24/7 on-call duties to respond to site outages and emergencies;
  • Must have experience installing PC/Laptop Hardware and Software;
  • Must be capable of working in a disciplined manner in a team environment, with strong organizational and analytical skills;
  • Must travel within New Jersey. Valid driver’s license and good driving record are required.

AM/FM CHIEF ENGINEER

Description: Beasley Media Group is looking for an AM/FM Chief Engineer in the New Jersey area for our (4) FM’s and (2) AM’s. Applicants must have at least a two-year electronics degree with the ability to maintain radio studios and AM and FM transmitter sites.

Qualifications:

  • More than five years of radio engineering experience
  • Ability to communicate issues with upper management while managing staff, maintenance, emergencies, capital projects
  • Must ensure compliance with FCC rules and regulations
  • AM/FM experience
  • IT experience is preferred
  • Must be willing and available to provide after-hours on call support
  • Must be able to carry 50 pounds, climb a ladder and provide general building and grounds maintenance as needed
  • Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license
