Baby Doing Fine Thanks To Life Saving State Trooper

An infant girl is alive and well thanks to the help of an off-duty New Jersey trooper.  State police say Trooper Robert Meyer was in his Piscataway home Saturday afternoon around 1 p.m. when a neighbor arrived saying her two-week-old granddaughter was choking.  Trooper Meyer ran shoe-less to the victim's home, and upon finding the baby struggling to breathe, he used a bulb syringe to clear the infant's nose and mouth.  The baby was brought to a nearby hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.
