Movement in the bottom half of the WCTC Top Ten, but Chiefs stay No. 1

For the first time in a couple of weeks, there's some new blood in the WCTC Central Jersey High School Football Top Ten, though Pisctaway holds on to the top spot.  It's the final ranking before the playoffs begin next week.  The next Top Ten will be out after the season is over.

Following are the Week 9 rankings with record and previous position in parenthesis:

  1.  Piscataway (6-2, 1);
  2.  St. Joseph-Metuchen (9-0, 2);
  3.  South Brunswick (7-1, 3);
  4.  Somerville (8-1, 4);
  5.  South River (9-0, 5);
  6.  Bridgewater-Raritan (7-2, 7);
  7.  Old Bridge (7-2, 10t);
  8.  Bound Brook (7-2, 6);
  9.  Hillsborough (6-3, 10t);
  10.  Middlesex (7-1, NR).

Dropped out:  #8 Sayreville (5-4) and #9 Immaculata (5-4)
