Despite loss, Piscataway remains atop WCTC Top Ten

The top-ranked Piscataway Chiefs were knocked off by unranked Old Bridge on Friday night, but remained atop the WCTC Central Jersey High School Football Top Ten in Week 6.  That's in part because the Chiefs beat No. 2 Sayreville just two weeks ago.  There were no changes at all in the Week 6 Top Ten, as shown below, with teams followed by current record and previous rank:

  1.  Piscataway (4-1, 1);
  2.  Sayreville (4-2, 2);
  3.  St. Joseph (6-0, 3);
  4.  Somerville (5-1, 4);
  5.  South Brunswick (4-1, 5);
  6.  Bridgewater-Raritan (4-2, 6);
  7.  South River (6-0, 7);
  8.  Bound Brook (5-1, 8);
  9.  Immaculata (4-2, 9);
  10.  Hillsborough (4-2, 10).
