For the second time in the past week, a child has been left behind on a Paterson school bus. The latest incident happened Monday when a six-year-old boy was left behind sleeping on a bus by an aide who officials say left the vehicle for a bathroom break instead of making sure all the kids had gotten off. The boy was discovered on the bus about 40 minutes later. He was unharmed and then brought to the Urban Leadership Academy, where he attends school. "NorthJersey.com" reports the driver in Monday's incident has been fired and the school district is fining the transportation company one-thousand dollars. A school bus driver and an aide were fired Friday after they failed to drop a kindergarten student at her school.
