Football USA returns Saturday, August 26th with in-depth previews of Central Jersey High School and Rutgers football!

We're back, baby!

Football USA returns for yet another season on 1450 WCTC on Saturday, August 26th.  Join Mike Pavlichko from 4-7 pm with a new co-host as they go in-depth to preview the upcoming season of Rutgers and Central Jersey High School Football.

On the opening show, we'll be joined by Marcus Borden of The Home News Tribune and mycentraljersey.com, for a complete look at the Greater Middlesex Conference, which returns two state champions - Piscataway and Sayreville, WCTC's Co-Teams of the Year in 2016 - and features many more exciting and competitive teams.  Who will challenge the Chiefs and Bombers for Red Division supremacy?  Will South Plainfield build off its state title game run in 2016?  Can Spotswood make it a three-peat as Blue Division Champions?  Will a move to Group 2 hurt South River and Metuchen in terms of power points?  Or will it help teams like the Chargers?  We'll attempt to answer all of that and more.

We'll also focus heavily on Rutgers football, featuring conversations with Head Coach Chris Ash, Offensive Coordinator Jerry Kill, true freshman quarterback Jonathan Lewis, Athletic Director Pat Hobbs, and Star-Ledger/nj.com beat writer Keith Sargeant.  Plus, we'll preview the Washington game with RU play-by-play man Chris Carlin and his counterpart in Seattle, Bob Rondeau.

Football season is right around the corner, and Football USA on WCTC has you covered from end zone to end zone, and beyond!
