Bayonne Bridge Clearance Project Done Early

Governor Chris Christie says a Bayonne Bridge raising project is done seven months ahead of schedule. Christie touted the early completion of the project that allows larger ships to travel underneath the span to busy terminals in Elizabeth, Newark and Staten Island.  He says the elevated clearance will bring all kinds of jobs and billions of dollars in activity to New Jersey and the region.  Christie notes that by the fall, some of the largest vessels will be serving the Port of New York and New Jersey, which is the busiest on the East Coast.
