Christie Defends Renovation Project At Statehouse

Governor Christie is brushing off lawsuits filed in an effort to stop renovation of the statehouse in Trenton. Christie says financing was done properly and people who are suing are running for governor or trying to score political points.  The state recently approved bonding on the same day it sold 300-million-dollars in bonds for work that's expected to start soon on the statehouse.  The lawsuits argue the bonding was done without legislature approval or public input.
