A judge may drop charges against a Pennsylvania trio allegedly caught with a cache of weapons outside the Holland Tunnel last year. Defense lawyers for John Cramsey, Dean Smith and Kimberly Arendt argue they were pulled over because they were driving a truck with pro Second Amendment decals and not for a cracked windshield as Port Authority police claim. The New Jersey judge is expected to rule today whether police had probable cause to stop the vehicle.
The three say they were heading to New York to rescue a teenager from drug dealers. That teen, Jenea Patterson, reportedly died of an apparent overdose last month at a hospital by Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
