Piscataway and Sayreville share top spot in final WCTC Top Ten

The 2016 WCTC Central Jersey High School Football Co-Teams of the Year share the top-spot in the final Top Ten of the season.  The Chiefs and Bombers both won state championships, each finishing 10-2.  They also happened to rank among the top teams statewide, according to nj.com's final Top 20 of the season.  The Chiefs were 10th and Sayreville was 16th, while Bridgewater-Raritan - which again made the finals undefeated, but again lost to undefeated Westfield - placed 15th in the end-of-season nj.com rankings.

In the pre-season, Piscataway was Number 2 in the WCTC Top Ten, while Bridgewater-Raritan was ranked 4th.  Sayreville was not ranked.
