Four soldiers remain hospitalized after Humvee crash

Four Army Reserve soldiers remain hospitalized after their Humvee overturned on the New Jersey Turnpike.

State Police Sgt. Jeff Flynn says investigators on Friday are still trying to determine what caused the vehicle on Thursday to strike a guardrail and turn over in South Brunswick.

Forty-year-old Sgt. Theodore Jackson of Lincoln Park, New Jersey, remains in critical condition.

Twenty-four-year-old Spc. Marcos Santana of Poughkeepsie, New York, is in serious condition.

State police say 25-year-old Deborah Perez of Brooklyn, New York sustained serious leg injuries. Officials have not released her rank or condition.

The driver, 24-year-old Sgt. Gedry Concepcion-Munez of Bronx, New York, is in serious condition.

The soldiers are from the 533rd Brigade Support Battalion stationed at Fort Totten in Queens, New York.
